I am looking to buy a used bike for now until I can find a job and get a new one. I have checked out the forums and I see that people refer to an agent for registering used bikes. I can not find out what they mean or how to go about finding one. I have checked out a few motorcycle shops and they seem to think it is no problem registering a bike with my current tourist visa, I will be getting a ED or work visa after I get a job but right now I have a 3 entry tourist visa for now. 60 days is up on first entry. I have gotten a affidavit of residence from my embassy and will get an 30 extension on my visa tomorrow.
The bikes I see at the shops are a little high priced for the year and miles so I was looking buy one from an owner. But wondering if it will be difficult to get registered due to the fact of the tourist visa. Wouldn't mind finding an agent that has connections to make it easier.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
