I really want a BMW for my next bike. But - the price... why are these so expensive in Thailand? Are they imported from Germany?

Can we expect the prices to drop as taxes for higher cc bikes are lowered in Thailand?

The F800 GS looks like my dream bike, but it retails for 760,000 or over USD 22,000 in Thailand vs. a USA MSRP of about USD 10,500.
