Gents - what oil are people using in the late model air-cooled R1200GS? I've been using the BMW Advantec 15W-50 dino oil from the dealer, but given it burns oil (not a lot, but on a week's ride i'll need to top up) i'm looking for something a little more readily available.
all info I've seen is that a reasonable quality 15W-50 (preferable) or 20W-50 dino oil should be ok, but interested to hear what brands & grades others have been using.
I generally do an oil & filter change @ ~ 5,000kms.
