Route 1154 runs through the Mae Yom National park & supposedly the country's last stand of Golden Teak.
1154 has some very long straights at the Song end, but in the middle it is fantastic winding hilly asphalt, as the road runs through the Nat. Park.
The old road, used to be an absolutely exhilarating ride on a narrow tight twisting dirt, & is still worth a look for a different way to Phrae from Chiang Mai, but nice smooth twisting asphalt.
