Looking for a custom seat to replace my CFR250 stock seat. I've heard of someone Chiang Mai way, but I'm in Udon. Or are there any good aftermarket seats available in Thailand? Thanks for any help!

That's a great idea! Didn't know these were available. I'll give it a go for TB550. And be on the lookout for custom seat specialist in the meantime if it doesn't work out. Thanks!

I got mine done by Narong - not cheap.
I would imagine any upholstery shop can remove the old foam from the seat pan and shape new foam to fit.
Mine is quite a bit wider.
PS - the strap is to hold my sheepskin cover on

Well those Hai Yent seat covers seem not to be available any longer. Back to upholsterer search. the last 1800km ride on my stock seat still has my butt sore. Is the seat magician near Rimping Supermarket still there? Been a decade since those rave reviews on GTR Handy Motorcycle Related Shops thread.

Narong is still extremely popular.

K-Speed was a good find. Thank you David. They had not been on my radar before, but they are now! I appreciate your efforts. They have my seat for upholstering, albeit sent to Bangkok for their best job. Wish I could do business locally, but I'm out of a seat for a week or three and I'd like to ride! Anybody have a CRF seat they want to sell? I'd like to have another seat made by Narong. I could pick up a seat anywhere in N. Thailand if anybody has a plastic body. Thanks in advance and happy trails.

The seat was 4,500 all in. Expensive, but I just want quality and find that I have to pay for it. The luggage rack is an excellent product made in Chonburi by SRC. What you can't see is the small gas jug mounted inside the rack. This one specific to Honda CRF series, but I think they make others; available in both MS and anodized aluminum/aluminium. This picture of the bike with Kriega 30l pack and two UglyBros 10l panniers that are ripoff of Kriega; We're crossing the Sirikit dam backwaters on the ferry here. It's a great system for long trips.

Wow - thats a nice looking seat man! A bit costly but it could easily be worth it.
I had my Crf seat made by Narong and although it became better and more comfortable than the stock seat (it doesnt take that much to be honest…)
Im still not 100 % happy with it.
But how much should one spend on a bike that I paid 89 000 baht for….?

Well, for me? As much as it takes to be comfortable! I'm out to enjoy myself. Not enter a race or set endurance record. And that stock seat just had to go.
