  1. Beautiful day today so hooked up with some friends at the Caltex on Asoke and we blasted out to Chacheongsao for lunch on the river.

Late morning rendezvous at Caltex, Asoke-

We reached the Riverside Restaurant in Chacheongsao shortly before noon-

The river was high and moving fast in Chacheongsao, but nowhere near flood level. Fantastic lunch, shockingly cheap [IMG]

There's a little water on the 304 near Minburi, and a little more and some serious potholes near the junction with Chalong Krung; other than that, the 304 is dry and in good shape. No flooding at all on Ramkamhaneg, but every single overpass is full of parked cars...

  2. Couple vids-

Some minor flooding on the 304 Suwintawong near Minburi, just to the east of the Ramkamhaeng intersection-

Glad I wore waterproof boots :)

Blasting back to Bangkok on the 304-

  3. Good to see you still getting out and about, despite the water.
Here in Chiang Mai, after a few days of floods around the river, which affected part of the town centre, the North has dried out quickly. The weather has been fantastic for biking for the last 2 weeks and looks like continuing that way.
When will we see the SSR boys heading North?
