I stopped at this (newish) restaurant today and enjoyed a rich and flavoursome Nam Ngeow. Wasn't too oily, and the broth was good with plenty of meaty pork bones. I'd eat here again.
Located on the bend just as you head out of the Hmong village, before travelling west to Ban Hua Mae Kham.
Just what I needed after a fast blat through the mountains.
And a quick heads up the terraced rice fields are transitioning from fallow to paddled to planted very quickly at this time of year. Looking good.
If you want to see some rice terrace goodness, now is the time to ride here.
