Triumph Chiang Rai has arrived!

2018-05-31 11.46.47.jpg

A brand new large Triumph motorcycle show room has opened in Chiang Rai. It is a very impressive place, packed with beautiful new bikes and all the accessories you could imagine. They have all the models, but the classic twins are what most people are looking to buy.

Wow.. Triumph umbrella, must get one those....

These bikes just ooze quality.......

The shop is fully endorsed by Triumph International and with sales booming in Thailand, the future for this business in a growing Chiang Rai, looks bright.

The T120 would be my choice, I think. But that is a hell of a package compared to my current ride.

The staff are great people, all speak excellent English and are very knowledgeable about the bikes they sell.
Their mechanics all go for comprehensive training courses with Triumph and return for more training when new models come out.

The business is owned and run by Khun Vorapong (Jeap) Treewatanawong, assisted by his brother.
and staff.

We had a long chat about Triumphs, new and old. They were of course most interested in my ancient bike.

I was honoured to be presented with a "Spirit of '59" T shirt, a gift from Khun Jeap. Kharp Khun Khrap.

As I have been riding a '59 Triumph Thunderbird for the last 25 years, this was fantastic.!

"Where will the spirit of '59 take me?" On lots more adventures, I hope..... in style and comfort. ..

Nice one. Indeed Triumph sales seem to be booming with the right amount of TLC customer care.

Now I bet that official 59 Triumph T-shirt felt good.

I can see that you may end up as an official Spirit of 59 Triumph roving ambassador in Thailand.

I agree with You there Ian. We stopped in a while back and checked it out! The Most Impressive Triumph showroom I have seen. Brilliant and all the Staff were Great as well! Your T/Shirt was well Deserved I feel, You're an Excellent Brand Ambassador!!! I have seen Spy Shots of a New Triumph Scrambler 1200 and it is going to be an Absolute Winner! So maybe looking at that for My Next Bike? Along the Lines of the Thruxton R with Big Travel Ohlins Suspension and Brembo Brakes, Saw 2 Models 19 and 21 inch front Wheels so Serious Scramblers not a Show Bike! Our Choice for Bikes just keep getting Better!!!

Great bike Ian..! I have a '67 T100C (Tiger Competition 500) in the UK. I must get to the new Triumph shop in Chiang Rai next time I'm out there. I believe there's a nice coffee shop next door too!

Hi Ash,
I didn't see a coffee shop.
The old, now closed Triumph Chiang Rai showroom was on the north side of the city.
This is a new showroom on the south side of the city.
I am building a T100, nice bikes, sweeter engine than the 650s.
