I've a friend in Pattaya whose repair shop has a few hundred used motos, which he uses for parts or refurbishes for sale. He'd surely have an engine, either running o not.
If Pattaya is not too distant for you to pick-up product, I can ask him about cost (if any) for a used dead engine.
