in chiang mai? To be more spesific, I'm looking for
the X-11 model.

If you already know the size I'm sure Paddock would send you one from BKK. There are lots of transport companies traveeling daily BKK-Chiang Mai.

Mine Is X-11 I'll double check, 20,000 baht plus a free T shirt and Hightech flashlight[:I] (you've spent 20,000 take anything from the bottom shelf[])

If you're coming from Oz or Europe the helmet prices here are relatively cheap. My Doohan replica helmet only cost 17,500 baht. Check em out. Order from Bkk & they will deliver to the Cnx shop.

Do you know if Fast corner stock the larger size helmets.
I'm will be doing a run to Bangkok from Cambodia to buy a new helmet.
Thinking Paddock or perhaps Fast Corner.

Bill, You can email Paddock [email protected] the woman who sold me my helmet speaks English. We had a hard time finding a helmet I liked in medium[].

Thanks for the tips. Fast Corner did not stock shoei, nor were
they able to order it.

Paddock howver had the size I wanted and sent it same day,
after I transfered the money.

I unfortunatly neglected to have them check the manufacturing
date on the helmet before shipping, so got what I guess is
a 2005 model.

I would phone and ask why. Maybe the colour and size you wanted was all they had.

I Just checked. I bought mine there in January sometime or it could have been early February. Mine says X-11 Production Date 06 10 25 Inspector A.Kayo

They only had one of the size I wanted, yes. They told me this on
the phone before I ordered, but not that it was produced 2 1/2
years ago.

They offered to send me a new helmet, but they would have to
order it, so I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks. Going on a longer trip
at the end of this week ... I opted not to.

The matter has however been resolved to my satisfaction by them
selling me a pair of already discounted boots at half price,
so I'm satisifed with their service, which was very prompt
too (wiretransfer the money one day, receive the stuff the
next day).
