After a great 3 days riding. Happy Feet and myself went our separate ways.
I was heading north by road, and Mark was heading south on a speed boat.
Set right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a faithful trip.......
Preparing the bike for take off.
Everyone seemed to know what they were doing.
Mark had the "maybe I should have taken the road" look.
The skipper and he's helper's took great care in making the bike comfortable, but less attention
was taken on the human cargo, least he was supplied with a one size fits all life jacket.
Fortunately mark had he's own mekong river approved safety helmet, vital for safety on a voyage of this nature.
A last minute check of directions, using the water proof GT-Rider map.
Just like an F-18 fighter pilot, its was thumbs up before take off.
Taking up there position on the starting grid.
Atomic batteries to power....turbines to speed.....roger, ready to move out.............
And off into the wild blue yonder.
I was amazed just how quickly the boat was out of sight.
These things really get up and go.
