I just got the ZUMO 660 and some GT-Rider members showed their interest, so below I post some info and pics. :)
The ZUMO 660 is not sold by ESRI yet, so the Thai map is not preloaded on this unit.
The ESRI map can be ordered;
1. Waiting time: 3-7 days
2. In English only
3. Price: 4.500 THB
4. Free updates during 1 year.

I'm impressed with the accessories for this unit. I guess some of you had the experience with Street Pilot 2610, which did not have bike mount included. For zumo 660 Garmin added RAM mount (see the pics below).

If you have any questions .... :)

What's in the box (see pics below):

* zūmo 660
* Preloaded City Navigator® for Europe (full coverage)
* MapSource® City Navigator City Navigator Europe NT DVD (full unlock)
* Motorcycle mount with integrated power cable and mounting hardware
* Carrying case
* Battery pack
* Automotive suction cup mount
* Automotive power cable
* USB cable
* Dashboard disk
* Quick start manual

Interesting unit.
How weatherproof do you think it is?
The speaker on the back would IMO perhaps present a problem :?:
Also, ESRI in their infinite wisdom imported the 550
when the 450 would have been just as useful
not having superluous "bells & whistles" that don't work in LoS.
Is the 660 similarly overspecked with features unusable here?
Thanks for keeping us updated.
As ever Eagle, is in the forefront of GPS customer service!

Sorry for late reply – I try not to live in my computer all the time and I took a short trip during last weekend.
Rhodie, thanks a lot for your words. You just made my day :) - thank you.

Regarding your question: in the specs Garmin shows that the Zumo 660 is waterproof according to the IPX7. Below explanation about the IPX7 taken from Garmin (http://www8.garmin.com/footnotes/IEC_60529_IPX7.html): “(…)An IPX7 designation means the GPS case can withstand accidental immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. (…)”
I promise to check it with the next unit (will sink it ;) and see what’s gonna happen), because the one I had was already booked and I don’t dare to put my hands on it anymore.

Some of the useful specs:
Waypoints/favorites/locations: 1000
Routes: 20 (additional storage on microSD™ card)
Speaks street names (e.g. "Turn right ON ELM STREET in 500 ft."): yes
Lane assist (guides you to the proper lane for navigation): yes (with junction view) - we are waiting for the ESRI map v.9 to see if this really works in Chiang Mai
Auto sort multiple destinations (provides most direct route): yes
Bluetooth® wireless technology (connect to your phone for hands-free calling): yes (with A2DP technology)
Qwerty or ABC keyboard (choose keyboard layout): yes
Custom POIs (ability to add additional points of interest): yes
Audio book player: yes

Please, be aware that the nuvi 550 is not sold via ESRI. We had sold this model as a special order. I think we have very limited offer here, while all around people start playing with the new models we can only read posts on the internet. That's why the "special orders". Sorry if I confused anybody.

[edit] just to add some screen shots from the ZUMO
