Not a bad place to clock up 10,000 km.

Yeah, not a bad place but not many people around. How is Road 18 at the moment after the rainy season? The road was good but I have heard some stories that there have been quite a few landslides.

The road was great like a super highway compared to cambodian roads. There were a few landslides but the road was mainly unaffected. Were there was rubble on the road it was quickly being cleared away. There were only one or two spots that had a rough surface due to lanslides.

There is still a lot of Anti American sentiment it seems in Laos. I dont blam them really. I dont like a lot of what they stand for or the way they go about things.
