[As a side note, I met with the Akha village head of Ban Phajee and he tells me their main festival with likely be in December this year.

A village meeting has yet to finalise the festival, which was cancelled last year due to the Royal Mourning requirements.

It's a tremendous event if it proceeds but somewhat difficult to get hard info on without visiting tge village and asking in person].
