G'day Fellas.
Another fantastic weekend at Baan Ricky..
Lots of Credit to Alan, Harry for putting this together and Misha for keeping the times etc.. and last but not least Misha's girlfriend Cat for putting on the food.
The food was fantastic..
Arrived Baan Ricky with Mike..
Managed to secure both KLX's in the back of the pickup with out losing one along the highway.
A quick walk around to stretch the legs.
Mike and I went for a ride at 4.. Following the track to the Enduro course.. Great trails to get there..
On the way back some fantastic scenery to stop and admire.
Mike took this snap as I rode along the trail.
That night a bunch of us went up to Hindad Hot Springs.. Great place, boiling in the ponds then cooling off in the cold river.
Mike has a couple of great shots of the ponds
This sign in the hot springs made us laugh... What are they trying to say?...
That night we had a fantastic dinner. Really good.. Thanks Cat.. well done at short notice.
Sundowner time Saturday night..
Sunday was Enduro day.. My GPS has it at 8.8 km.
Will post the track later.. Once the orange markers are gone you will never find you way through.. Suggest you do this before the rainy season.
It will be over grown by the next dry season.
Alan, Brian M, Rubin and Matt early morning.
The start of the Enduro track
The starting gate.
The finish line.....
Mike and I decided we wanted to be back in Bangkok at a reasonable hour.. Left the guys at the lunch location
Tony took this pic of us going over the bridge.. To our surprise we had to ride up a whole bunch of steps on the other side to get to the road.
The guards in the national park just watched and laughed.. Some entertainment for the day..
View from the bridge.. Tony and the gang were at the bottom right feasting..
Mike on his world class KLX with a waterfall in the back ground.
One of the biggest Kilometre / Mile markers I have ever seen..
Another great weekend with GTR mates and new friends.. Gotta love biking..
Below is a link to Harry's Facebook Album with a lot more action snaps.
