On a recent trip to South Africa I met ( and travelled for a few days ) a nice fellow from England who drove a BMW 1150 which he borrowed ,for free ,(private arrangement) from a guy in Cape Town . He has done this on several occasions in USA and Europe .
This is through a bikeshare group called : www.bikeshareworld.com.
Check it out ,perhaps someone wants to join . At present I think they do not have any partners in SE Asia
