Having spent approx 70,000 baht in the last 3 1/2 years renting bikes for POP & Tony's I figured it was time to stop wasting money and buy a bike for when I'm out here (about twice a year)
The problem is I don't think I'm here long enough to sort all the admin out.
I have read the info about buying a bike and needing a 3 month visa etc etc.
Thing is I'm only here for another week but want to have a bike all sorted for when I come back in Sept for 3 months. I want all paperwork sorted so I can take the bike to Laos.
I don't want to spend most of my next trip waiting to sort the documents.
So my question is this ........Can I do this remotely ? From England ?
Buy the bike this week and then arrange green book and plate from abroad ?
I can get an address to use in Thailand, but I only ever come in on one month visas.
