Cargo Boat in Laos

Interested in doing the cargo boat bit from Huay Sai to Pak Bong. We have 2 Honda Shadow Cruisers with a fair amount of gear. Would the 2 bikes fit into one boat or do you think we would need 2 boats/ And does any one have a ball park figure for the cost of a boat to do that leg of the journey???? Last question. How long does the journey take??????

The cargo boats are big enough for 2 bikes, some boats are easier to load than others. Getting off at Pakbeng can be exciting.

Cost should be 4000-5000 baht for the trip. Travel time is about 6 hours.
