Day Trip out of Northern Bangkok

Hello all,

I just purchased a crf250 and am looking to do a day trip out of North Bangkok where I live. Looks like Kanchanaburi and Khaw Yai are basically my only options. Anyone up for a day trip?

An 'F' or an 'M'? I regularly ride to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok on a CRF250 L. I'd recommend spending at least one night in the province, or better still two. The bike isn't much fun on the busy Thai roads but great for exploring tracks once you arrive

It's a CRF250L. Yeah 2 days would be great but I thought I could fit something in for a day real soon since I don't have a ton of time. Is it doable?

Sure it's doable. Try it and see how you get on. Many Thai riders visit Kanchanaburi on day trips from BKK but them tend to have larger road bikes. I'm going again this Friday afternoon, returning Sunday PM. On Saturday I'll be exploring some tracks behind Baan Ricky, the motor cross venue.
