Dirt ride (mostly) in Mae On

As per Ally's suggestion I started this route behind the train car and found the canal after a few 100 meters.

Some of the views in the valley are unreal and inspiring.

Back near the reservoir

Behind the reservoir. I found a "Bridge to Nowhere." I do not know what function it had as I could not make my way back into the "jungle."

This guy had a whole lake to himself. I am not a fisherman, but I could certainly appreciate this scene, so I gave him a thumbs-up and split.

More fun stuff

The ruts were a half-meter deep in spots.

And back to Bucks & Bulls for a nice fruit shake and chat with the beautiful Khun Lek and Khun Nung.

Your bridge to nowhere is a loading ramp for the rocket festivals.

One day I would like to ride that trail, maybe followed with some cowboy steak.
