Does any of the Chiang Mai rental shops have the Kawa Versys yet?

Hello again people,

I just wanted to know if the Versys started to show up in the rental shops around Chiang Mai yet?

I saw one at Mr. Mechanic just before i left in late November @ 1500THB/day, and has hoping that maybe a few more places might have them by now. So if you've seen them around, and happen to know the price (daily and/or long-term), please let me know.

It is spreading around more of the shops, but the price for a brand new bike is going to be very much the same wherever you rent. I must admit 1500 is a bit of a premium cf the 1100 to 1200 the ER6N rents for.

Thanks a lot John, I'll shop around when i get back up there.
Maybe they'll drop somewhat in price towards low season.

I hired that bike at Mr Mechanic in November it was exellent. I just posted details of the trip I would hire another one and the ABS is worth paying the extra for.

Well you should say "will be spreading once more come to Chiang Mai". I have heard no more Versyses until February.
