ducati scrambler seat height

Hi all, for all riders old enough to remember scramblers back in 1971.
Yamaha DT1, Honda XL250 and also the Ducati Scrambler, all had seat height around 940mm similar to the new scrambler.

Standard seat height on the new 2015 Scrambler is advertised at 790mm.

Correct. And the seat is fairly thick and soft. This makes the bike feel very small. In fact, the bike IS small. I recommend taller people to test ride it before placing an order. Letting somebody take a picture when you sit on it will also help. You will find out that it is a small bike.

Ducati have told me (via their official DS FB page) that a higher seat will be offered as an option, although no details of height.
