On the GTR Fang city map, straight opposite the Ueng Kham (UK) Hotel.

Note that there is a much bigger newer Preeya 2 Mansion also with undercover parking, bigger rooms, the same cable TV, gas hot water & all for the 350 baht; but in the room I had the gas hot water pressure was only a trickle & the WiFi nowhere near as strong, plus the bed a bit too uch on the plank side = I moved after one night when I found the Preeya 1 Mansion & checked everything thing out fully = turned on the gas hot water & not just the sink tap.

Ciao Julian very nice hotel new and cheap
In Fang I like to go and sleep in hot spring
Before I sleep in minivan now I sold may be I will stay in a tend future.
One hotel I like also to stay because National park a little expensive room 1500 Thai baht
Is just before the National park 1 km at the left
Price the same of your hotel 600 but is old
I like because the river with hot water pass close to the room and inside the room can smell
Solphurous water at the night
When wake up in the morning a strange sensation in the mounth

Some fact about the area of Fang
Many place in the area i can go most of them but for the name ….
Anyway this place name is San ju
Area Doi Pha Hom Pok
But more close to Doi ankhang some difficult street off road bring Doi ankhang also.
50 km ca from Fang town
Around 5 km from border of Myanmar
The street finish can get direction Thaton but army close the street
My girlfriend she like to make fhoto to birds
Have some species migrate from china expecially now at this seaeon
One years ago I was there
I was waiting her near street
Many army pass with the car because may be the smuggler use to pass in this area 5 km before the Myanmar border
Boring to wait I go to see her
Boring also to see her and another fotografer
I walk a little in the jungle may be for one km.
I loose the way
What I think for sure smuggler normally pass in a night time
But I have green pullower
and green back pack
I try to not walk too far away because if I cannot get the way for come back
may be she can advise thai army come to rescue me.
I was scare if army see me do the same they normally do to the smuggler
First shot and after ask what i do.
Finally I see the street far away but in one hour I was close to car .
Not easy in a jungle.
I walk around car thinking I was Lucky to come back and nothing happen and at 30 mt from Where I parking car i see
Dangeous mines .
Not only the army can shot me thinking I was a smuggler but can die in a mines.
And mines was inside thai territory because may be many people smuggler use this way.
I was very very lucky
I know in Myanmar have mines but I never see before inside thai territory
