Many thanks for allowing me to join your group! Many years motorcycling - 35 years and 100,000 miles on GoldWings. Lots of Europe touring - Netherlands, Germany, Austria mainly. Bought a 350 Forza in 2023 and just got a new ADV 350. Aircraft engineer by trade then 20 years teaching engineering, followed by 12 years medical engineering. I have a well equipped workshop and have a few 70's Four cylinder Hondas, which I've restored plus a 2020 Super Cub. ADV 350 seems to have a lot of following in Asia and it seems many modifications/upgrades are available - better than UK.

Hello David,
I'm in UK and now at my age (76) it's doubtful that I will ever get to travel in Thailand. I really like reading about other folks adventures in any country, having had lots of our own in Europe. Another reason for wanting to join your group is that the Forza and ADV seem very popular in Asia and many more aftermarket improvements are available than in the UK. I'm really looking forward to putting in some (s)miles on the ADV. I have a little hobby web site with lots of my bike/car/engineering stuff plus many adventures. If anyone is interested they could send me a PM for the link - I won't put it here as the spybots will clog up the system,

Thanks for the windscreen info - I'll see what I can get! Another quick question: my 2023 Forza had a lockable glovebox but the 2026 ADV 350 doesn't lock, do you know if the switch and wiring can be retro-fitted from Forza? Perhaps someone has already done that over where you are? Could be that it is lockable for certain markets but not UK 2026
