Should you come to Chiang Khong for the Music Festival on 21 December, it maybe an idea to hang out a few days in the area & catch some of the Hmong new ear activities.

Out of Chiang Khong there are Hmong villages at

Thung Sai: خرائط ‪Google‬‏‏

R1155 out of Wiang Kaen has some big Hmong villages, all along the road
R1093 the Phu Chi Fah road has too many Hmong villages all along the road.
R1148 from Chiang Kham to Tha Wang Pha has plenty too.
