Hi All,
I am picking a up a Honda ADV350 2025 model and had a few questions about road sync if someone can help ?

I have downloaded the Road sync App from UK App Store any idea if this will work in Thailand as when I bought my last bike the dealer told me to download a Honda app for service booking but would not work because my phone is linked to UK App Store. Seemed like a pain to change.

I am going to use with an intercom as I will be driving from Hua Hin to Udon Thani and definitely need nav otherwise I Will get so lost!

Any other tips that could help would be much appreciated

My Google Play Store account is Australian region and the RoadSync app downloaded from that region specific Store worked for my Thai 2024 model ADV350 RoadSync. I didn't use a Service booking feature though.

I don't use the RoadSync app as it didn't provide any advantages for me to keep using it.

In fact my advice would be to keep money in your pocket rather than buy a 2024 RoadSync ADV350. Buy the vanilla scooter version instead.

This is because the 2024 model scooter screen and handlebar controls are ineffective and badly optimised for RoadSync display/control

The refreshed new 2025 ADV350 model display screen is upgraded for the 2025 ADV350 model, so maybe RoadSync app interface and guidance is better displayed on the actual scooter screen now?

Same for the controls, as I think they have been refreshed?

A tip for you is, the airbox/ intake is a bit of a vacuum cleaner for dust, being located so close the the rear wheel/road.

So check the air filter at half recommended service intervals. Air filters are very cheap to purchase and super easy to replace yourself. Wouldn't be noticeable for warranty, that you have changed it yourself, if that's a concern.

I hope you have lots of fun of your ADV350!

Hi ADV thank you for the info on the road sync. I have ordered and paid for my 2025 one as I wanted the new display otherwise would have been exactly same as my ADV160 I bought last year. On my 160 I just used a quad lock with damper and worked reasonably well. But I thought this might be a neater solution.

Thanks for the tip with the air filter as when I am in northern Thailand they have a lot of the orange sandy roads.

Yes I have about 4 Days now! And I have done nearly 200 KMS just driving around Hua Hin.
Pretty comfortable to ride road sync works better than expected so far. Front screen makes banging noise over bumps and rear number plate rattles too. But apart from that I am enjoying it

With the front screen banging it sounds like the screen rubber gromits that the screen securing bolts pass through have slipped down from their correct position.

The purpose of the the gromits is to stop vibration and also allow the screen to come off the scooter in case of an accident force on the screen.

The incorrect position will allow the screen to make direct contact with the plastic frame that carries the screen.

It happened to my screen. It's an easy fix yourself. Its just a question of undoing the screen securing bolts, sliding the screen down and off being careful not to loose the gromits. Once this is done its easy to see how the gromits work and their correct intended location.

Reassemble and tighten enough to secure the screen but not enough the compress the gromits out of shaped, as this would affect their purpose.

Here is a photo of the gromit bush in the correct position....the hole that the gromits bush fits in is like and inverted classic key hole.... Put gromit bush into squircle hole and slide up into the slot and then tighten fastener.

If the gromit bush drops down and starts vibrating and banging around in the big hole it will wear out pretty quickly because its made of very soft rubber.
