Just an update for anyone planning to enter or exit the Haad Lek Cham Yeam border. R48 is heavily damaged. You will face 140klms of long stretches of mud, bomb sized craters and flooding. This goes from about 15klms outside of Koh Kong and goes right to the PP junction road. Flooding has significantly damaged the roads to both Kampot and SVille. At one point all heavy vehicles were being diverted through Kampot from the SVille port to PP. Damage on both roads is extensive.

R48 can now rightfully be called Cambodia's Road of Bones. Trucks, vans and cars were broken down and stuck in their dozens. I loved every minute of the ride! !
