KTM naturally were at the Bangkok Super Car and Import Car Show
following their intended demographic.

A KTM with your Brabus/Maybach, Sir ?
Well, we have one that will fit in the boot/trunk nicely...

Had a sit on a KTM 200 Duke at KTM's new showroom in Phuket town yesterday. These bikes look deceptively big in photographs!! If your over 6ft (190cm) then you will find the riding position way to cramped for anything more long term than a test ride.......The 690 Duke is the right size but the wrong price! Especially when there are bikes like the Versys filtering into the secondhand market at around 200,000thb @ a year(ish) old with low mileage :smile1:

KTM 200 Duke is a beautiful & well engineered bike, same it's a little bit dinky :-(

Maybe the Duke 350 will be bigger.

Indeed the Duke200 is a bit small ..... perfect size for me!
At Mityon in Pattaya they have them for sale .... just pay & go!
In Europe they say it has 25hp at unladen weight of 126kg. Sounds good ....
But indeed .... Duke350!!!!
Also did read that the Duke200 is rev limited ... so there might be options to pep it up!
Now why is the Duke200 so expensive here ... should be just a bit more expensive as the Honda CBR250R. Is that KTM pricing themselves into heaven?

Partly KTM's high prices but obviously due to the import taxes here too, the CBR250R is made here so no import tax. In most markets the CBR250R is a bit more expensive than the Duke 200 so a difficult choice, here it is a no-brainer!

I was today at a mini motorbike show at TukCom in Khon Kaen where als KTM had an stand .... I assume it was KTM Udon dealership.
The Duke200 is a lovely short bike ... my wife asked for the price ... 230k ... without any shame the sales guy told me that the 10k extra (in BKK and PTY 220k) is because they have to transport it upcountry. Hahaha even if you would buy one then I would buy it in BKK!

The Duke690 is also lovely ... but you can buy at least 2 Versys's for that money!
