Leaving A Canadian Plated Bike In Thailand For 4-5 Months?

Hi gents,
I am debating leaving my BMW R80G/S parked somewhere in Thailand for 4-5 months as I go off and trot around sans bike. I know I’ll have to pay the 6,000 Baht at time of leaving the Kingdom. But my question is, can I fly out of Thailand on a one-way or return ticket? Is the bike linked in any way to my passport?
