Looks like I’ve found the forum to answer all my questions and also, share the experience I have. Thank you.
Despite my Liverpool accent, I’ve lived in West Kent in the South of England for over 30 years. I’m almost 60 and just about to retire, meaning I now have the time and lack of responsibilities to go on longer holidays.
I’ve been riding all my life, mostly on the road, but for the last 14 years, lots of greenlaning on a DRZ400. Mostly I ride on my own. That doesn’t mean I’m antisocial, it just means I have to take the opportunity to ride when I can at short notice and odd times.
The reason I joined this forum is to gather more information for a month or so trip to ride a bit on and mostly off road in Northern Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in Oct/Nov/Dec 27.
I’ve ridden a 4 day Ha Giang Loop in an organised group back in 24 and loved it.
I’ve just ridden the Samoeng Loop and the Mae Hong Son Loop, and in 43 years of riding, they were the most fun days I’ve had riding.
