Pha Mi is a spectacular little Akha village nestled right up against the Burma border & in the thick of the drug smuggling trade from just across the other side of the road 1149.

I've been wanting to spend a night up there for awhile, but never quite got round to it & always end up making a quick coffee stop en route to / from Doi Tung.

Apart from the coffee I enjoy to watch the MotoGP races there on my phone.

The view is stupendous

The coffee is quite good, plus they've got rooms & a few light meals.

Pha Mi I alwayes pass just take a coffe and I never stop for the night there,only I sleep many time with Monica or tend in the top of the doi tung mountain only few km from Pha mi.10 20 tend there in night time.
But friends tourist guide say
In night time the Main Street of Pha mi is plenty of Chinese light and have 4 5 restaurant delicious.
Can to be romantic if
we will found a new love
Or can choise to go with the old one love..

Run along the border of Myanmar for 20 30 km.

May be can go down from another way
I remember one night the army they make me problem for moving and I follow one way go direction the cave where children get problembut survivor
