As cool a group of Thai guys as you could get.

Bike Base has only been open a few months & generally it is a Harley hang out with a little Harley small workshop at the back

drop into Phrae & these guys will make you feel welcome in the extreme.
Befriend them & they will ride out to meet you on your next trip.
Plus they will show you around town.
A really really cool group of guys & a credit to both Phrae & motorcycling in the North.
Thanks for the brilliant hospitality last weekend.

Agree completely David, a nicer bunch of guys would be hard to find and nothing like a little local knowledge to find the entertainment in town. Phrae is an undiscovered diamond, the bypass road heading north/south doesn't help either.
Your pics are certainly a huge improvement on my Phone camera!

Big Bike Service in Phrae
It appears as if the Bike Base is not as great as it used to be since the death of the owner a couple of years ago, & has lost some of it;s mojo.

A recommended big bike shop to use is Thailand Motorbike TMB in Phrae

Located on the Nam Thong bypass, not far from the recommended Nam Thong Hotel
On the way to Buriram for MotoGP, I stopped to check & adjust my chain, which is starting to wear @ 30,000 kms.
Good friendly service & repeated, insisted no charge for a chain adjustment = you gotta love Thailand & the friendly down to earth people.

The shop is small, clean & well organised.

The owner is a rider & knows what he is talking about & doing.
