Removing Scratches From Plastic

Does anyone know of a product to remove scratches from the plastic components of a motorcycle? A Honda Wave in my case.

There are a number of YouTube vids all saying different things, but basically 360 grit wet & dry, getting finer and finer with a good old polish to finish.

I had a Wave with some not so good looking panels. Just change the panel(s) with a new one(s) from Honda. You can even mix-and match the colour.
