Max Brown, a long time ex-patriot (23+ years) and former Honourary Australian Consul in Chiang Mai sadly passed away in Laos last week at a mine site that he was developing.
Max was the rider of numerous bikes over the years including my old 1950's AJS 500 twin which I sold to Max in 1986, a genuine brand new 1973 Triumph Bonneville which was discovered still in the crate in a warehouse in Bangkok in 1987 and more recently a Heritage Classic Anniversary model Harley Davidson. His 2 sons, David and Paul also ride Harleys in Thailand.
Prayers are currently being held every evening at 8.00 pm at the Chatawan Temple in Lampang. Funeral rites are being held in Lampang this week on the 23rd at 1.00 pm at the Trai Lak Crematorium.
