My wife and I are going to spend Nov.8-26 in Isaan, our hope is to initially get to Korat and rent a 150cc or larger scooter to site see in that area.
We prefer going to a new town by bus and getting good scooters in each town rather that long moto travel with our stuff overland.
Does any one suggest other places where we can get a GOOD scooter for local travel.
The reason I ask is on a recent Thai trip North from Malaysia we found it quite difficult to find short term rentals in Thai towns like Sonkla, Trang, Surit Thani.
What about Surin, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakon Phanom, even Udon Thani?
Any suggestions MOST appreciated.
