Should I stay or should I go?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the mundane post, but I have a very small window of opportunity to ride the Mae Hong Son loop for the third time. Starting mid or late September. I've looked at the weather reports and checked the average rainfall, which is high. My question is: Is it worth doing or am I going to be confronted with all day rainfall and wet roads? I'm more than happy to wait out a few hours in a cafe, or even park things for a day or two if that is what is required. I am really keen to make this happen, but not a fan of riding in the rain.

Maybe it will be bright and sunny when you do go.
It's bright & sunny by the Mekong in Chiang Khong today.

What will it be like in two weeks - watch the weather apps & radar.

(Weather forecast Thailand)

Btw if you have some pics of your MHS ride & bike, you're welcome to ost them.

(What bike(s) are you actually riding?)

Thanks mate, that is encouraging. I ride an MT-10 at home, but hire a V-Strom 650 in Chiang Mai from Pop's. Here is one of my favourite photos from the road between Nan and Chiang Khong.
