A friend and I both have DRZ400's in Cambodia and want some major engine work done.
Wondering if its worth a trip to Thailand.
My friends bike is as new and he wants a stroker crank fitted. He's got the crank, bearings and gasket kit. Already has near new big bore kit and hotcams.
My bike needs a new crank/rod/bearings assembly fitted, possibly valve seats recut and new valves/springs/collars fitted, and any tranny bearings etc replaced as required.
I have new crank/rod/crank bearings assembly, full engine gasket and seal kit, big bore kit , hotcams, and new timing chain.
Gearbox bearings etc, if required, I would hope to source aftermarket in Bangkok.
Looking for recommendations for dirt-bike workshops in Bangkok/Pattaya area from gt-rider members that have had this type of work done successfully.
The two that crop up in google searches seem to be Red Baron and Dirtshop, but not much specific info (in English) on their reputation/ability.
