200,000 kip a night.
The rooms are probably over priced & you're paying for the location.

Tadlo Lodge is a great place to spoil yourself. The Lodge has good rooms in a stunning a location.

Rooms are around US$50.00 per night, and they have a nice restaurant there as well.

Hi David,

We stayed at the resort in the top of this post.. April 2012.

Price in Baht was 720 Baht per night.

Rooms were good and close to the waterfall.

Very busy with the Lao New Year celebrations

Cheers

Quick update:-

The resort is closed for the 5 days over Lao New Year.. The locals really take over the whole place.
Noisy, drunk people and garbage every where..

Cheers
Brian

Well I still like the Saise / Sayse because of the location, but the place is really poorly run at the moment; however I think the rooms are ok.

But they seem to have no business. Southern Laos seems damn quiet for"high season."

If you're staying at the Saise / Sayse & want to eat, the "best" food would appear to be across the bridge at the Sipaseuth guesthouse.

Bridge across the Xeset river at Tad Lo

Cross the bridge & the Sipaseuth is the blue GH-Restaurant on the left.

Sipaseuth restaurant Tad Lo,

But why recommend the Sipaseuth? Well...trying to dine with the GF at the Saise at 6.30PM with we ordered a beer & 3 plates of food. The 1st big beer is finished & no food, so I order a 2nd big beer; AND oh by the way the cook is not here, gone home now, no food! Ok cancel the 2nd beer.  Across the bridge to the Sipaseuth.
