The best way to get there is the way I rode back to Chiang Mai. Go up the 118 and turn right on to the 3005. Going through San Kamphaeng is a nightmare due to the traffic.

Known as The Giant Chiang Mai Thailand.

They were really busy and they didn’t seem to be very well organised. I don’t know what the food or coffee was like because I couldn’t get a seat.

But it was a nice riding up there and the structure was very impressive.

This was the first time Id been in this area and its really nice.

I ate at Sounchan Coffee which is about 10 kms down the road. Really nice restaurant in a beautiful setting, with great food and coffee.

I approached it from the other side of the mountain
118 - 3005 - 4063 - TR at the zipline place along the Mae Wong past the waterfall,over the mountain.
Past the Phupananun Eco Lodge and Thai Jungles - Viola
All asphalt or concrete except near the very top where they are prepping the road for the pour.
Steep on the Giant side, but nice day ride.
