Hello I am new on ths forum.Live in Thailand 20 + years but as I work with boats I rarely have the time to travel
away from the (Andaman) coast. For ths year however I plan , when we can do so again, a trip Phuket to the very north of Thailand , following the borders ofr Myanmar and Laos and then back via Udon Tani . The trip will be slow as we will be two up on a kawa 250 tracker but we have plenty of time. Given the type of bike we prefer small back roads , gravel or paved ,as opposed to race track -like highways.
Any tips are very welcome .
Question : de kawa has street tyres which will will be less then suitable for slippery and gravelly roadsurfaces we can expect . Does anyone have tips for more suitable tyres , "50 /50's "?
many thanks
