Checking your tyres aint always easy at petrol stations, with not many having a big bike friendly nozzle & gauge set up. In Chiang Mai one that does is the Jet petrol station on Manneenoporat road (the north side of the moat), with a motorcycle friendly automatic tyre pressure hose / nozzle & gauge set up.
I also suspect that quite a few other Jet petrol stations have the same air hose & gauge set up, so it is worth keeping an eye out for the Jet stations to fuel up & check your tyres at the same time.
