Note that in December 2010 Vieng Thong does not have 24 hr electricity. But 2 hrs in the evening & 2 in the morning. Roughly 6-8PM & 6-8AM.

there is now a new guesthouse opposite the hotsprings in muang hiam - location for the hotsprings here:

we paid in march 2018 50'000 kip only (200 baht) incl. using the hotspring-baths at the same place!

if you will visit the hotsprings - you will pay per person 10'000 kip (40 baht) - so in fact we paid only 30'000 kip for the room ;-) - good value!

there is only a sign in laos-language - and it is a small restaurant there where you can eat - also karaoke available!

in night time very quiet - and in the morning great sunrise and a hot bath....(it was fresh in the morning (about 13 degrees celsius!)
