Ban Salavangkhang or SAM 2 missle area

Hi,

Has any one found accommodation around Ban Salavangkhang or SAM 2 missle area?
Would rather not stay in Attapeu if we don't have to... other wise any other recommendation after Attapeu?

Once we leave the SAM 2 site will head back towards Paksong

No Accommodation in Ban Salavangkham - also and probably better know as Paem or Paam. Attapeu has accomodation and I normally stay in the Amphone GH (sometimes also known as the Dokchampha which is the name of the restaurant right in front of the GH). Good place to stay and eat but not much is happening in the town itself.

The Amphone GH is located south of Rd 18B at N14 48.685 E106 49.418 (just before the new building for the BCEL bank - still under construction - which is a bit further east on the north side of the road).

This old Missile?

The village signs 100 metres apart either side of the missile are Ban Nampa & Ban Somboun,
30 kms east of Attapeu / 26 minutes @ average speed 67 kph = sleep in Attapeu.

The hotel I used was the Siamphone
