GTR Weekend Warriors Dinner # 1 - Sunset @ Takhong, Haad Bai
After a discussion with some of the riders at the GTR Up Country Dinner in Si Satchanalai, it is understood that there maybe a demand for some weekend hook ups for those who work & cannot make the Wednesday GTR dinners.
The masterplan is a GTR Weekend Warriors dinner the 2nd weekend (Saturday) of the month & the regular GTR Up Country dinner on the last Wednesday of the month. So roughly every 2 weeks a GTR dinner event. No organized ride, just meet up at a designated destination for a night out with some biker friends.

The place: Takhong, the magic sunset place on the Khong, mid way between Chiang Saen & Chiang Khong.

The date: Saturday 12th February 2022.
This is after Chinese New Year, which is roughly 1-7 February 2022, & 2 days before Valentines day on 14 February.

Takhong is upmarket over @ Had Bai.
@ Had Bai has rooms for 600 baht.
Takhong has rooms starting bungalows & tents for glamping.
Both places will let you take your own tent & camp out if you want.
@ Had Bai is on the main river road, 250 metres from Takhong that is right on the river.
Make your own way there at your own pace & book your own room, depending on your budget.
The total rooms available is roughly 15 = first in first served - please book your room asap.
