Route 105 Mae Sot to Mae Sariang - current condition August 2026?

Planning to drive Route 105 from Mae Sot up to Mae Sariang later this month, in a car with my wife and our one-year-old. How's the road right now, especially that last stretch into Mae Sariang in the wet - any washouts or single-lane sections I should know about? Anything else a family in a normal 2WD should watch for in August, take slow and steady in daylight?

Appreciate any recent first-hand reports. Cheers.

No problem at the moment.
A friend drove up there 3 days ago and said it was all good.

Thanks for your reply David - seeing this a few weeks later but can confirm the roads were in better condition than in rural Australia where I'm from. Super pleasant the whole way.
