Just got a couple of pics in from a friend in Laos.

The Soong river in Vang Vieng has burst its banks flooded a few days ago.

Another mate says the river is going down now, as the rain has eased off.

Looks like the bamboo bridge that goes to the other side is gone.

It was a lovely bright and sunny morning last Friday there but the rain really hammered down late afternoon.

Hope everyone is ok and not too badly affected :-(

Hi Rafiq.

Typically the wet starts around late June, early July, and finishers around mid October.

Hot months are usually around March/ April.

I usually wait till the start of November if Im going to do any dirt trails.

But the weather is unpredictable, and you mite go in the middle of the wet season, and not get a drop of rain.

Best of luck with your trip.
