Found a good guesthouse in Vientiane (after too many crappy ones), called Chindamay Guest House, on Sihom Road, BanHaiSok. It's west of the strip, just where Th Setthatirat starts. (A Y-junction with a tiny gas-station, where Luang Prabang Rd meets a
