off the main drag, but still only 80 metres from the Mekong & the main riverside road.
I've stayed here a few times now & whilst the staff aren't over endearing, the rooms are quite ok - biggish, with air con & hot water - & it has good parking for your motorbike.

Pon Arena
Pon of Pon's guesthouse fame now has two new extensions. Just 50 metres upstream from the original guesthouse. The riverside place is an absolute gem of a spot too.

with a pool right outside your door.

The rooms are very well done with all the fittings, flat screen TV, fridge, counter, table, wardrobe

Getting to Don Khong is easy now, just ride down highway 13S 132 kms from Pakxe, then turn right & ride across the bridge over the Mekong onto the island.

all pretty special, because none of the other guesthouses sit right on the riverbank, but back from the river across the road.

Price: 100,000 kip = 400 baht.

All with under cover parking.

Location: 50 metres upstream from the fabulous Pon Arena.
