ADV350 - Ask me any questions

No problem with clutch issues yet @ 6500km, ive just returned to Thailand after a 5000km tour through China and the bike was faultless

Have had that problem with a PCX 150 years ago and a ceramic clutch sorted that out.

I bought EBC brake pads for my NC750X and they were useless, worse than stock..................................ended up putting Brembo pads in and they were awesome, I also have Brembo in my X-Max and again awesome

I'm looking forward to watching your China trip. I have a quick look and the trip looks excellent.

I'm interested to know if you (or mechanic) has checked/adjusted valve clearnances and any results?

The Brembo front pads were carbon race...which literally chisel lathed the disc hahaha. They gave a very quick all or nothing stop which I was just getting used to before my scooter was flood damaged.

The Brembo rears were carbon ceramic which are the recommended pad in Thailand... but Brembo has contradictory website information that says this pad compound is unsuitable for large scooters. My experience was I found they just made for a very weak rear brake which was worse than stock pads.

My first ADV350 ended up with a bliued and warped clutch bell at about 15,000km. Huge judder on standing start. Seems other ADV350 riders experience this same problem at varying mileages.
